This small artifact comes from what is believed to be the bedroom of the house. The presence of a spout suggests that it was used as a baby’s feeding bottle. Chemical analyses carried out on similar examples found in other archaeological contexts outside Sardinia have revealed the presence of traces of milk inside the containers. According to another hypothesis, the jar could have been used to refill the oil lamps themselves.
